The Life of BETTY MARIE CORNWELL
Betty Marie Cornwell, 71, of 3900 15th St. died of cancer Saturday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at noon Tuesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Cornwell was born in Earlham and spent most of her lifetime in Des Moines. She had been employed by Super Valu, the Des Moines Register and Thriftway.
She is survived by her husband, william; a son, Bruce of Des Moines; three daughters, Beverly Waddell of Des Moines, Brenda Densmore of Marshalltown and Becky Bennett of McCook Lake, SD; and 10 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to John Stoddard Foundation, American Cancer Society or Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
