The Life of JOHN HAROLD RAITT Sr.
Services for John H Raitt, 72, of Altoona, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Altoona Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Raitt died of a liver ailment Wednesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Mr. Raitt was born in Mitchell, SD and lived in Altoona 25 years. A retired tool and die maker, he was a member of the Sunshine Open Bible Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; seven sons, Jack of New Haven, Mass., Robert of Austin, Texas, Donald of Mitchellville, John and David, both of Altoona, and Daniel and Raymond, both of Des Moines; a duaghter, Leina Martin of Quebec, Canada; three brothers, Wendell Raitt and Vincent Carey, both of Des Moines, and Donald Carey of St. Louis,MO; a sister, Juanita Stumph of Des Moines and 18 grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Sunshine Open Bible Church.
