The Life of GEORGE ROGER IMMEL
George "Rod" Immel, 58, of 604 Euclide Ave., died of a heart attack Tuesday at home. Services will be graveside at 10 a.m. Friday in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Immel was born in Marietta, Ohio, and lived in Des Moiens 35 years. He retired as an auto mechanic at Conway Buick and was a veteran of the Air Force and a member of AmVets.
Among survivors are two sons, John of Des Moines and David of Portland, OR; two daughters, Jill Immel and Julie Lilly, both of Des Moines; and two grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or National Wildlife Foundation.
