The Life of RICHARD L CARR
Rick Carr, 56, died Monday, March 1, 2004 of emphysema at home. Services will be at 11 am Thursday, March 4 at Aurora Avenue Bible Church, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Rick was born December 14, 1947 in Mason City, Iowa and had lived in Ankeny since 1983. He was an appraiser for Iowa Auto Damage Appraisers and a member of Aurora Avenue Bible Church.
Rick is survived by his wife, Carlene Carr of Ankney; sons, Richard L (Johneen) Carr II of Des Moines and Kevin E (Allison) Carr of Mason, OH; five grandchildren; and brother Dennis (Diane) Carr of Dexter. He was preceded in death by his parents, LaVonne and Ralph Carr.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to Aurora Avenue Bible Church.
