The Life of ORVAL C LOWERY
Services for Orval C. Lowery,76, of 1248 Fifty-seventh St. who died of a heart ailment Thursday at Northwest Community Hospital, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Van Buren County, Mr. Lowery lived in Des Moines for 60 years. He was a retired chef at the Fort Des Moines Hotel and was a member of Windsor Presbyterian Church and Eagles Lodge No 90.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel; three stepdaughters, Darlene M Greene and Jean Chapman, both of Des Moines, and Mary Louise Dannen of Missouri Valley; two sisters, Pearl Reeves of Colorado Springs, CO; and Dorothy Mansheim of Clovis, CA; and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Saturday.
