The Life of JAMES D AUSTIN
Services for James D. Austin, 62, of 4310 N.E. Thirty-second Court, who died at home Sunday of cancer, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Assembly Church. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Austin was born in Macksburg and also lived in Winterset. He lived in Des Moines since 1950. He was a member of Grace Assembly Church.
He was an inspector at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co.
Survivors include his wife, Nora; two daughters, April Briggs and Janice Gray, both of Des Moines; four sister, Ruby Dorsey of Des Moines, Nora Evans of Decatur City, Ruth Anania of Omaha, Neb., and Esther Conner of Los Angeles; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ausin of Mesa, Ariz.; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.
