The Life of CHESTER I LEVEKE SR
Services for Chester I. "Mike" Leveke, 60, of 2724 E Ninth St., who died of cancer Tuesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturay at Visitation Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Leveke was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and was owner of National Machine Co. He was a member of Visitation Catholic Church and a World War II Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Lavina; two sons, Jerry and Ronald, both of Des Moines; five daughters, Margaret Bode of Algona, Dianna Nolin of Urbandale, Susan Leveke of Casper, WY, and Patty Cawford and Judy Grett, both of Des Moines; and 15 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday, and a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.
