The Life of ROBERT R SPOONHALTZ
Services for Robert R. Spoonhaltz, 56, of 701 SE Miller St., who died Sunday at home of cancer, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dahlstroms Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Spoonhaltz was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and was a retired forklift operator at John Deere. He was a member of Eagles Lodge 109 and American Legion Post 562.
Survivors include his wife, Norma; two stepsons, Ralph Gruver and Douglas Gruver, both of Des Moines; a stepdaugther, Nancy Meyers of New Orleans, LA.; two sisters, Evelyn Rogers of Des Moines and Betty Mason of San Diego, CA; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
