Sharon Kay Whiteaker Peterson, 61, was born December 29, 1943 in Des Moines, IA, and died Saturday, March 19, 2005 at St. Mary''''s Hospital in Duluth, MN. Services will be 12 p.m. Saturday, March 26 at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Sharon was a loving and caring woman who touched everyone''s heart. If you met her once, you never forgot her.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Harry; sons, Norman David III, Stanley Davis, Rodney Davis, Sr. and Robert Davis, all of Des Moines; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Snyder-Davis; brothers, Arnold and David Whiteaker of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Audrey Meyer of Des Moines; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
