The Life of DONALD K FILLMAN

Donald K Fillman, 79, of Cameron, MO, died of congestive heart failure Thursday at Cameron Regional Medical Center there. Services will be at 1 pm Monday at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Des Moines. Cremation will follow services. Burial of the cremains will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery here. Mr. Fillman was born in Des Moines and had lived here most of his life before moving to Missouri three years ago. He was a retired industrial electrical engineer with Baker Electric and an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Gallitan, MO, the EBF union, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and the 34th Bomber Group 8th Air Force. He enjoyed photography. He is survived by his wife, Betty; a daughter, Bettejean Johnson of Cameron; a son, James of Conyer, GA; a brother, Robert of Park Rapids, MN; a sister, Louise Baker of Des Moines; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
