The Life of DAVID L NOBLE

David L. Noble, 50, of Knoxville died of a respiratory ailment Monday at Veterans Medical Center in Des Moines.  Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home in Des Moines, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Noble lived in Des Moines most of his life before moving to the Veterans Medical Center in Knoxville a year ago.  He retired as a punch press operator at the Ford implement plant, was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and had been a member of Staves United Methodist Church and Disabled American Veterans.

Among survivors are his mother, Pauline Noble of Des Moines, two brothers, Glenn of Austin, TX, and Max of Des Moines; and a sister, Sandra Starman of Reading, CA.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m.
