The Life of Anthony LoCicero
Anthony “Tony” LoCicero, age 92, husband of the late Doris Steele LoCicero and lifelong Ansonia resident, entered into eternal rest July 9, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. He was born April 13, 1919 in Ansonia, son of the late Salvatore and Maria Biondolillo LoCicero. He owned and operated L&M Globe Cleaners in Ansonia for over 30 years. He is survived by his son Paul A. LoCicero of Ansonia, daughter Mary Ellen Lucuk and husband Theodore of Seymour, brother Joseph LoCicero of Seal Beach, California, grandchildren Jason Hobbs and wife Lori, Melanie Lucuk, Donald Mainolfi and great granddaughter Kaley Hobbs. Also many nieces and nephews and caregivers Marie and Shirley who made Anthony smile. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his brothers Michael and Theodore and sisters Fillipina LoCicero, Rose DiMauro, Polly Pertoso and Ellen Reimann. Family and friends may call at Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
