The Life of MARGARET N. ARMPRIESTER

Margaret (“Nina”) Armpriester, 90, formerly of West Lawn, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the Phoebe Richland Nursing Facility. She was the widow of Harry G. Armpriester, who passed away in 2008. Born in Reading, Nina was the daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret (Burns) Slimmer. Nina was a devoted member of St. Ignatius Loyola Church since the parish opened in 1965. She was a devout Catholic her entire life. After her husband Harry joined the Catholic Church, they became especially devoted to The Divine Mercy of Jesus. Nina always focused only on others’ needs, and devoted her entire life to helping family and friends with incredible energy, even into her late years. She treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially at the holidays and family picnics when she worked tirelessly and selflessly to make every gathering special. Nina is survived by her two sons, Mark Armpriester and Michael Armpriester; daughter Debra McGrail and son-in-law Michael McGrail; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and her brother Dennis Slimmer, as well as many other loving family members. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Ignatius Loyola Church, 2600 St. Albans Dr., Reading, PA 19609. Due to Covid, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 , with entombment to follow at Gethsemane Mausoleum. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed and the webcast of the Mass viewed at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com
