William C. Seaman William C. Seaman, 66, of Reading, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021, at 2:00 am in Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, he was the son of Elizabeth L. (Kugler) Bodek and the late Kenneth C. Seaman. He was a Holy Name High School graduate. Bill served in the United States Army in intelligence, including a year in Korea, and then was a truck driver for various companies in Berks County. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Beverly A. Bard, wife of Russell Bard of St. Lawrence; Eileen L. Smutek, wife of Joseph Smutek of Shillington; Donna S. Hilton, wife of Thomas Hilton of Exeter Township; Douglass B. Seaman, husband of Peggy Seaman of Rochester, New York; Cheryl L. Sheirich of Herndon, Virginia and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Seaman was preceded in death b y his step-daughter Tanya Freese and brother Stephen K. Seaman. Graveside Service with Military Honors rendered by the United States Army Honor Guard will be held at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, Saturday, May 29, 2021, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Veterans Making A Difference, 645 North 6th Street, reading, PA 19601 in memory of Mr. William C. Seaman.
