The Life of Frederick J. Borchers
BORCHERS Mr. Frederick (Fred) J. Borchers, age 59, of Holbrook St., Ansonia, died Tuesday at Griffin Hospital. Born March 25, 1951 son of the late Fred C. and Florence Carroll Borchers. A graduate of Dutchess Community College then moved to Connecticut and graduated from the University of New Haven with his Bachelor and Master's Degree. For many years he was very active in the Connecticut Hurricanes Drum and Bugle. He was employed as senior business analyst for Fuji Medical systems in Stamford and previously worked for Phillips Medical system in Shelton for 16 years. A communicant of the Church of the Assumptions. Survivors are son, John Borchers of Ansonia; and he was married for 33 years to Margaret Fowlers Borchers of Ansonia; brother, Art Borchers of Poughkeepsie, NY; sister, Gloria Marshall of Poughkeepsie, NY; and a granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from the Bennett Funeral Home, 91 N, Cliff Street, Ansonia, to the Church of the Assumption for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Burial will in Pine Grove Cemetery.
