The Life of Lilly Butler Ray
| RAY Lilly B. Ray, age 79 and resident of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest at home on February 15, 2011. She was born February 8, 1932 in Natchez, Miss., daughter of the late Clarence and Ella Morrow Butler. She worked as a nurses aid for Park City Convalescent Hospital. She is survived by two sisters, Mary Gatison of Bridgeport and Corine Bruce of Chicago, Ill. and three brothers, Andrew Butler of Natchez, Miss. and Fred and Willie Butler, both of Erie, Pa. She also leaves three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her son, Charles; three sisters, Josephine Evans, Queen Ella Davis and Katie Ruth Duncan; and three brothers, Clarence, Edward and Walter Butler. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 22 at 10 a.m. from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT (www.jenkinskingfh.com). Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday at 8 to 10 a.m. before the service begins.
