The Life of Annie Craps Graham

GRAHAM Annie C. Graham, age 81 of Ansonia, entered eternal rest Saturday, February 5, 2011 in Paradigm Health Care, West Haven. Born in Lake City, S.C., she was a resident of Ansonia for fifty years. She was formerly employed as a teacher's aide for ten years and a bookkeeper for Fred's Garage for thirty years. Annie was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church for more than fifty years and was a member of the senior choir. She was a former member of the Citizen's Council in Ansonia, former moderator for the Republican Party, a member of AKA, the Library Board for Ansonia, the PTA, a Den Mother for Cub Scouts, and she sponsored families from foreign countries. She was predeceased by her husband, Freddie Graham; son, Vincent Graham; and daughter; Fredrecia Graham-Spinola. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Freddie Graham Jr. of Seymour; three daughters, Toya Graham of Ansonia, Renee Graham of New Jersey and Sheena Graham of West Haven; one brother, Elmer Caldwell of North Carolina; two sisters, Bernice Seward of New York and Cynthia Cooper of New Jersey; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Stratford, 1031 Stratford Avenue, Stratford with Pastor William B. Sutton, III, officiating. Interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia at a date to be determined. Friends are invited to the viewing Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Morton's Mortuary, 25 Margaret E.
