The Life of Dorothy Schwedler King
KING Dorothy King, wife of the late Gordon King and resident of Ansonia, died January 11 at Gardner Heights in Shelton. She was born August 31, 1925, daughter of the late Frederick and Alma Linning Schwedler. She graduated from University of Connecticut with her bachelors and masters degree and worked as a microbiologist for 25 years at Griffin Hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Diane King of Ansonia and her son, Gordon F. King Jr. of Clinton. Memorial services will be held for Dorothy and her husband Gordon on Monday, January 17 at 10 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.There are no calling hours.
