The Life of ALICE M EASTERBROOK

Alice M. (Hjorth) Easterbrook, 87, of Hamburg, passed away in her residence on December 23, 2022.

Born on August 28, 1935, she was a daughter to the late William and Alice (McGreevy) Hjorth. She was the wife of the late Theodore “Ted” L. Easterbrook with whom she shared 59 years of marriage at his time of passing on December 1, 2017.

Alice worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Berks County, mainly in Reading and Hamburg, for many years until her retirement. She was a kind woman and a devoted aunt and sister.

Alice is survived by her siblings, Patrick Hjorth, husband of Barbara, William Hjorth, widower of Jeanne, and brother-in-law, Robert Meceda, widower of Pauline, along with many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Poochie.

In addition to her husband and parents, Alice is predeceased by her sister, Pauline Meceda.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 9:00 am – 10:00 am with a service beginning at 10:00 am in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple.

Burial will take place in Gethsemane Cemetery.
