The Life of Archalane Worrell Mason

Archalane Worrell Mason, 96, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at her home.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Garland Mason; her parents, Matt and Daisy Worrell; her brothers, Oral Ray Worrell, Pete Worrell (Lottie), Ralph Worrell (Audrey), Hadly Worrell (Ocie), and Ray, Lowell and Clamander Worrell; her sisters, Ernestine Worrell, Laura Worrell, Iva Liptrap (Robert), Elouise (Lerty), Dorothy Stuard (Marvin), Estlee Gray (Danny), Opal Underwood (Homer); brother-in-law, Kenneth Knott; and daughter-in-law, Yvonne McCauley.

Archalane is survived by her children, James Madison McCauley III, Keith Maurice McCauley, Susan Lynn Mehfoud (Patrick), and Dwayne Wray McCauley (Cyndy); her grandchildren, Celia McCauley-Wittl, Jessie McCauley, Victoria McCauley (Otis), Rusty McCauley, Patrick Mehfoud, Sean Pilgrim, Michael Bradley, Wesley McCauley, and Mason McCauley; her great-grandchild, Althea Pilgrim; her siblings, Juanita Knott, Fomoso Worrell (Brenda), Jomoso Worrell (Patsy), Portland Worrell (Lillian), Bob Worrell, and sister-in-law, Margaret Worrell, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Oakey's North Chapel.  Graveside Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Evergreen Burial Park with Elder John D. Hodgkin officiating.
