The Life of Dale A. Daubert

Dale A. Daubert, 79 of Deer Lake, formerly of Pottsville, passed away Sunday while at Laurel Center Nursing Home in Hamburg. 

Born November 26, 1943, he was the son of the late Atwood and Margaret Long Daubert. 

Dale was of the Protestant faith.  He coached at Rotary and Railway Little League along with Pottsville Basketball and Pottsville Midget Football where he supported his children along with other youth of the area. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, the former Darlene Reiner.  He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Wellington and Charles Daubert and his sister Mary Jane Zeigler and her husband Don.

Dale is survived by his wife of 48 years, the former Amanda Hirsch along with his children; Jeff Daubert husband to Megan of Spring City, Melanie Weisicosky, wife of Steve of Pottsville, Troy Daubert husband to Nancy of Orwigsburg, and Tim Daubert, husband to Suzy of Crofton, MD.  He is survived by grandchildren, Derek, Elijah, Madeline, Allison, Justin, Jeremy, Landon, Dalton, Hudson, Jasmine and Chase.  He is also survived by his sister, Lucinda Jones, of Severn, MD along with several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 25th at 11:00 A.M. at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven.  Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.  Interment will follow on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.  Memories and condolences can be shared at www.grabowskifuneralhome.com
