The Life of Susan Elizabeth McClane

Susan Elizabeth McClane, age 59, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023.

She was born to Abram and Kathryn (Endriss) McClane in Philadelphia, PA. Susan 

graduated from Penncrest High School in Media, PA in 1981. She had fond memories of growing up in

the Springfield/ Media area, cheering on the Quaker City String Band in Mummer’s parades each New

Year’s Day, and being around her family’s flower shop, A.F. McClane Flowers, one of the oldest flower

shops at the time in Philadelphia.

Susan had a number of professions in her life, but her most cherished were running A.F. McClane

Flowers with her sister and teaching preschool where her passion for children shined.

As her kids were growing up, Susan could often be found spending weekends at Disneyworld, skipping down Main Street, enjoying the Florida sun at the beach, dancing around the kitchen to country music, and cheering on the Eagles. She was so excited to watch the Eagles in the Super Bowl this year.

Susan is survived by her children Amanda (John), Hope (Jeremy), Nicholas (Sabrina), Kamryn; four grandchildren; her brother Bruce, her sister Gail, her aunt Arlene, several cousins, nephews, and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her son (Robert).
