The Life of Mr. John H. Smith

John H. Smith, son of the late Charles R. Smith and the late Dora (Green) Smith, was born Monday, May 26, 1952, in York, PA.

John attended William Penn Senior High School and retired from First Capital Insulation, York. He attended Cornerstone Baptist Church and leisurely enjoyed hunting and fishing.

While at his York home on Thursday, March 9, 2023, John passed from labor to reward at seventy years of age joining in eternal life his parents, Charles and Dora Smith; brother, Robert Smith; and sister, Gladys Moore Jackson.

Irreplaceable memories will be cherished by his daughters, Renee Middleton, Lucretia Middleton, both of York, PA; sons, John Middleton of York, and Robert Middleton of Dover, PA; sisters, Gloria Murray of Pittsburgh, PA, Evelyn Chambers and Patricia Weedon, both of York; brother, Charles Smith of York; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, 1 godchild, other family members and friends.

Viewing will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Jabez Ministries, Inc., 40 Jefferson Avenue, York, PA, followed by a Service at 12:00 noon. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Pennsylvania Avenue, York, PA.
