Bernice Whiting transitioned to eternal rest on March 11, 2023, at age 91.

She is survived by her son, David Coleman (Mary); sisters, Rosa Coleman and Carleen Matthews; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Rodman Street Missionary Baptist Church, 6111 Rodman St., Pittsburgh, PA 15206. Visitation: 9:30 AM to 11 AM. Service at 11 AM.
