The Life of FRANK A FRICK

Frank Alfred Frick, Sr., 81, of Reading, passed away Monday, September 26th, 2022, at Lutheran Home at Topton with his loving wife and children by his side. 

He was the beloved husband of Barbara Ann (Petrowski) Frick, to whom he married June 4th, 1966, and shared 56 years of marriage. 

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late David H. and Leona G. (Miles) Frick.

Frank was a graduate of Reading High School.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Frank retired from Akzo Nobel Coatings, Inc., in 2007. 

He loved gardening and being outdoors. Frank was a family man who loved vacationing with his family, especially in Wildwood, NJ. He was a huge Baltimore Ravens fan and enjoyed tailgating. Frank was a truck man and loved his Ford F-150.

In addition to his wife Barbara, Frank is survived by four children: Frank A., Jr., husband of Toni B. (Pavia) Frick, Mt. Airy, MD; David E., widower of Maria C. (Fessler) Frick, Ruscombmanor Township; Jennifer L., companion of Mark Salvatore, Sinking Spring; and Kathleen L., companion of Joseph Scarpaci, South Heidelberg Township. Four grandchildren: Jena Frick, Kaci Frick, Allison Frick, and Luke Walter also survive him. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September, 30th, 2022 at 10:30 A.M., at Gethsemane Cemetery Chapel, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. at Stitzel Family Funeral Home, 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA 19605. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Frank's honor to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 or to Boys Town, P.O. Box 8000, Boys Town, NE 68010.
