The Life of Mrs. Evelyn L. Leeper

Evelyn L. (Fetter) Leeper, 100, died peacefully at her residence in Sammamish, WA, on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

She was the wife of the late Frederick R. Leeper, and is survived by her five children, Ronald Leeper and wife Leslie, of Wilsonville, OR, Kathryn Heidenreich and husband Robert, of North Port, FL, Richard Leeper and wife Jennie, of Sammamish, WA, Kristen Fink and husband Steve, of Dover, PA, and Kendra Kruper, of Sammamish, WA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Kurt Leeper, Katrina Berry, James Hutton, Katie Fink, Megan Fink, Isabella Fink, John Kruper and Alexandra Kruper, and 4 great grandchildren, Matthew Leeper, Jessica Berry, Ryan Berry, and Christopher Hutton.

Born December 10, 1922, in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Fetter and Edna (Rau) Fetter of York, PA, and sister of the late Charles Fetter, also of York, PA.

Evelyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She worked at her family's business, Fetter's Dry Cleaning, and at Sherry’s Bridal Boutique. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in York, until she moved to Sammamish in 2002. There she joined Pine Lake Covenant Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and an active volunteer with Job's Daughters.

Evelyn will be remembered for her genuine kindness to everyone she met, her beautiful smile, and her unconditional love for her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Pine Lake Covenant Church in Sammamish, WA, on February 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM. A burial service will be held at Prospect Hill Cemetery in York, PA, on May 17, 2023, at 2:00 PM.
