The Life of Charlotte L Rogenmuser

Charlotte L. Rogenmuser, 97, of Blue Bell, died Saturday, January 28, 2023.

Born December 31, 1925 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Charlotte (Caldwell) and John W. Rogenmuser, Sr.

Charlotte was employed as an executive secretary with Glaxo Smith Kline for over 30 years, retiring in the 1990s.  She was a longtime, dedicated member of Church of the Messiah, Lower Gwynedd.

Charlotte loved traveling and western movies, especially those starring John Wayne.  Earlier in life, she enjoyed singing opera in Philadelphia.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, John E. “Chip” Kern, Jr. (Betty) of Lansdale, John W. Rogenmuser III (Sheila) of Tacoma, WA, Dale McClure (Allan) of Bastrop, TX, and Kurt P. Rogenmuser of Media, PA.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Kern, Thelma Righter, and E. Idelle Rogenmuser; and her brother, John Rogenmuser.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Church of the Messiah, 1001 Dekalb Pike, Lower Gwynedd, PA 19002 followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Charlotte’s memory to Church of the Messiah, address above, or ACTS Hospice, 1936 West Point Pike, West Point, PA 19486.
