The Life of Sue Page

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 2:00 pm in Martin & Castille's La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette, for Sue Wagner Page, 87, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at her residence in Broussard, surrounded by her family.

Interment will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023, at a 10:00 am graveside service in Lafayette Memorial Park led by Reverend Michael Richard, Parochial Vicar of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.

Reverend Michael Delcambre, Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Broussard, will conduct the funeral services.

Left to cherish her memory are four children, Ralph Page, Jeanene Page Desormeaux and her husband, Tommy, Lisa Page Liddy and her husband, Joe, and Clyde Page; her step-daughter, Suzonne Page Slaughter and her husband, Randy; eight grandchildren, Ryan Desormeaux (Monica), Adam Desormeaux and wife, Jill, Chase Desormeaux and wife, Kate, David Page, Candice Fleuriet Winfrey, Ian Liddy, Sandra Lynn White and husband, Chad, and Matthew Fleuriet and wife, Jo; her great grandchildren, Cole, Avery, Amelia, Eli, Paige, Abbie, Anna, Carter, Eliza, Zoey, and Jamie; and many relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Paula Marie Page, and her parents, Willie Lou Henson Wagner and Edward Anton Wagner.

A native of Brinkley, Arkansas and resident of Lafayette, Sue Wagner Page was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Sue loved her family dearly and was an incredible mother. She spent her time gardening, sewing, and cooking, but above all, she most enjoyed being with her family. Her tender nature and contagious smile will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Page, Clyde Page, Tommy Desormeaux, Ryan Desormeaux, Adam Desormeaux, and Chase Desormeaux.

Honorary Pallbearers will be David Page, and Matthew Fleuriet.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE location on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 10:00 am until time of service.

A Rosary will be recited on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 12:00 pm led by Brady LeBlanc in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE Location.

A heartfelt appreciation is extended by the Page family to Community Hospice of Lafayette, especially her nurse, David Zachary, and her caregiver, Clarissa Starlard.
