The Life of Helen A. Seiler

 

Helen Ann (Kentriss) Seiler, 86, of Northampton, PA, died peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on January 17. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, she was a graduate of Hallahan Catholic High School, class of 1954. Helen loved children and was a nursery school teacher for many years. Helen has been a resident of the Lehigh Valley since 1991. She was a member of Red Hats, Lehigh Valley Senior Center Krazy Kids and Good Vibrations, and enjoyed performing at the Munopco Theater. She was also a hospital volunteer for many years and never passed an opportunity to help those in need. Helen had a very deep faith and enjoyed the time she spent at church and Bible study and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Coplay PA.. Married in 1960, she was with her husband, William C. Seiler, until death separated them in 2013. They are together again and that brings much peace to her family. 

Survivors: Include Linda S. (Seiler) Franzo, with her husband, Frank, William C. Seiler Jr., with his wife Sandra, and Judith A. Seiler as well as seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. 

Services: Her memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on February 25, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 18 S, 3rd St., Coplay, PA 18037. All are welcome to attend. Private burial for the family was held at Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill.

Contributions: May be made to Starting Over Animal Rescue (S.O.A.R) and Lehigh Valley Hospice.
