The Life of Mr. Eddie Gene Reilman

Eddie Gene Reilman, 83, of Richmond Township, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 in Tower Health - Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading. Born in Dalhart, Texas, Eddie was a son of the late Edwin Reilman and Blanche "Pauline" (Clinkenbeard) Wertz.

Eddie was employed by the former Saucony Shoe Company, Kutztown, until he was drafted into The United States Army. Following his discharge, Eddie continued his employment with Saucony Shoe for several years until it's closure in 1980. He then was employed by Kraft Foods, Fogelsville, until his retirement in 2001. Eddie was a member of Kutztown Grange #1836, and Kutztown Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid woodworker who enjoyed making tables and other wood pieces. He also enjoyed recycling copper material for reuse. 

Eddie is survived by his son, Ray D. Reilman and granddaughter, Hannah M. Reilman, both of Trexlertown; and half-sister, Ethel M. (Wertz) Dematteo-Beck, Kutztown. 
A graveside service to celebrate and honor Eddie's life and burial will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown, with The Reverend Kim Adamson officiating.
