Age 75, of Roanoke, Virginia, formerly of Pittsburgh, on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Beloved husband of Grace McEachern. Loving father of William (Pam) McEachern, Walter (Stacy) McEachern, and Paul (Sarah) McEachern. Eight grandchildren. Brother of Richard (Sherry) Eberst, Arlene (the late George) Lapp and the late Karl Eberst, Janet Eberst, and Nancy Whigam. James will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends received 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at ANTHONY G. STAAB FUNERAL HOME, INC., 900 Chartiers Ave., Pgh, PA 15220. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in Allegheny Cemetery.
