The Life of Sarah Jane Quinn

Sarah Jane Quinn, 86, of Palmerton and formerly of Pottsville, passed away on Wednesday evening in

Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street.

Born in Pottsville on January 26, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Darwin and Margaret

(Warfel) Bixler.

Sarah was a 1953 graduate of Pottsville High School and attended Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.

She worked as a Medical Secretary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Allen Quinn;

daughter, Carolyn Marie Quinn; brothers: Allen and Darwin Jr.

Sarah is survived by her husband, John F. Quinn to whom he was married 65 years; a daughter,

Patricia Quinn, of Milltown, NJ; sister, Marie Celani, of Pottsville; and several nieces and

nephews.

Services and interment in Schuylkill Memorial Park are private at the convenience of the family.

Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., Pottsville, is in charge of arrangements.
