The Life of ANN H PRICE

Ann H. Price, 95, formerly of Cotton St., passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022, in the care of Manor at Market Square. She was the loving widow of C. Jack Price, who passed away in 2009.

Born in Reading to the late Zygmunt and Helen (Blanski) Zabinski, Ann attended St. Mary’s School and Southern Jr. High. She retired from the Talbot Knitting Mill after 26 years.

Ann enjoyed celebrating her Polish heritage, especially at Polish picnics and dancing polka. She enjoyed five different cruises through her life, her favorite being the cruise to the Bahamas.

Left to treasure Ann’s memory is her son, Dennis W. Price, husband of Carol, of Reading; grandchildren, Michael Price, Joseph Price, John Price, and Janet Setlock; 10 great grandchildren; and three step great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Jack, Ann was predeceased by her sisters, Esther, Mary, Helen, and Celia, and her brother, Edward.

Ann’s family wishes to thank all the caretakers of Caring Hospice for their dedicated and compassionate care of Ann.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catharine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606.The burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Reading will be private. Friends and family are welcome to gather for viewing at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m.
