The Life of MARGARET A. AHRENS

Margaret Anne Ahrens, 69, of Sinking Spring, died September 4, 2022 at Parkhouse Nursing & Rehabilitation, Royersford. Born July 5, 1952, in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Florence Falinski. She was a 1970 graduate of Reading High School. Margaret was employed as an unemployment and tax agent with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 34 years, retiring in 2005. She liked to crochet, watch NASCAR, enjoyed spending time at the Reading Fairgrounds, and was a Phillies, Eagles, and Penn State football fan. Margaret is survived by her son, Matthew A., husband of Stefanie L. (Frymoyer) Ahrens of West Lawn, and her companion of 38 years, William E. Stauffer, of Sinking Spring. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 8th at 11:00 AM in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Reading. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Reading.
