The Life of Mrs. Marjory Maria Gerbino
Marjory Maria (Miller) Gerbino, 97, of Kutztown, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Francesco Gerbino, who died on May 24, 2005, and whom she married on February 9, 1946.
Born in Bethlehem, Marjory was a daughter of the late John J. and Margaret C. (Dixon) Miller. She was a graduate of Liberty High School. Upon graduation, Marjory worked for Bethlehem Steel until she enlisted into The United States Navy, where she was stationed in Washington, D.C. Following her honorable discharge, Marjory was a homemaker who took great care of her family.
Marjory's life was centered around her faith and church. She was a devout Christian and was most recently a member of Crossroads Community Church, Fogelsville, where she attended their bible study group.
Marjory is survived by her three sons, Joseph E., husband of Kathleen A. (Sammo) Gerbino, Ballston Lake, NY, Jeffrey A. Gerbino, Tampa, FL, and Mark J., widower of Brenda M. (Sock) Gerbino, Kutztown; three grandchildren, Mark J. Gerbino, Jr., and his wife, Lydia, Darcy R. (Gerbino) Becker, and her husband, Roger, and James F. Gerbino, fiancé of Mauren Nowlin; and seven great-grandchildren, Briana Gerbino, Elizabeth Gerbino, Daphne Becker, Charles Becker, Chloe Becker, Alex Nowlin and Lizzie Nowlin.
Along with her husband, Marjory was predeceased by a son Francis T. Gerbino on February 2, 2001, and her brother, Harry A. Miller.
A funeral service to celebrate and honor Marjory's life will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Burial will follow in New Bethel Zion Cemetery, Krumsville (Kutztown).
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
