The Life of Walter James Burnham, XVI

"Walter James Burnham XVI, known to most of us as ""Jamie"" of Finksburg MD, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 1st. He was 41 years young, Born in Southbridge MA, on July 6th 1980, he was the first born son to Lori M. Randall-Burnham and Walter J. Burnham XV. He went to Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical in Palmer MA. His education was focused in the Electrical Trade and later became a Journeyman as an Electrician working on major construction sites that were very complex, operating cranes and fixing them and was a member of the IBEW Local 24 of Baltimore MD. Jamie was a highly intelligent man with a thirst for knowledge. He was very open-minded, had an insatiable curiosity and had the most generous heart. Jamie loved nothing more than being a father. He was happiest spending time with his son Eli. He and Eli spent their time going for exploratory walks in the woods and learning how the world works and working the car together. Jamie loved riding his Suzuki GSXR 1000. He leaves behind his son Eli James Harper, 2 years of age, who was his driving force and love of his life, spouse and love of his son Caitlin Harper, his sister Brandy Rose McCullough, her husband Keith McCulough and daughter Paige, brother Matthew Paul Burnham, 2 nephews Nathan and Joshua Burnham and his wife Jess Burnham. There are also many Aunts, Uncles and cousins on both sides of his parents. He is predeceased by his Grandmother's and Grandfather's: Frederick R. Randall and Alma M. Phenner-Randall, Walter J. Burnham and Louise Myers-Burnham. We know he is at peace now and free of these worldly burdens of life that we all know too well. We will miss him dearly. May his spirit fly freely amongst the stars into eternity! A service and Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. We appreciate your prayers and support during this time. Oh Great Spirit Whose voice I hear in the winds and whose breath gives life to all the world. As I come before you - one of your many children, hear me as I am small and weak. I need your strength and wisdom. Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset! Make my hands respect the things you have made and my ears sharp to hear your voice. Make me wise so that I may understand the things you have taught my people. Let me learn the lessons you have hidden in every leaf and rock. I seek strength, not to be greater than my brother but to fight my greatest enemy myself. Make me always ready to come to you with clean hands and straight eyes so when life fades as the fading sunset my Spirit may come to you without shame. Aho'"
