Leticia Aguilar Ueda was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and dear friend to those that knew and loved her. She loved the Japanese Culture and it is her love that led her to meet and marry her husband, Toshikazu. She and Toshikazu celebrated 30 years of marriage on March 5, 2022. Throughout their good times, bad times, struggles and battles... love conquered all. As a mother she sacrificed her life for her children. She worked multiple jobs to make sure her children had everything they needed in order for them to have a better life. As a mother she showed us tough love, was a disciplinarian, and stern but everything she did benefited her children and their future. She worked as a seamstress for Tony Llama, Justin Boots and also for Levi Inc. She also worked as Carraba's and Bonzai Restaurants and was also an entrepreneur, cooking and selling Mexican food and lunch plates. She was a fighter but also was very generous. She feared and loved the Lord (Proverbs 31:10-30). Mom loved helping people including the Hispanic community in Acadiana. She enjoyed sharing her devotion of Our Lord Jesus Christ to the youth of our community.

Her hobbies included dancing, singing, and eating out. McDonald's was her first stop every morning, and made lots of money off of her. She was very generous and often enjoyed shopping for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Her favorite colors were black, white, blue and especially red, as she loved red roses. Our Mother was victorious in many ways, she was diagnosed 22 years ago with liver disease and was given 6 months to live but with God's mercy and grace she defeated this illness even now in death and is now sitting at the table in heaven rejoicing and dancing for the Lord as she has a new name and a new body in Christ.

Pallbearers will be Luis Villa, Kenneth Bonin, Jose Perez, Jonathan Perez, Benjamin Perez, Nathan Del Rosario, Johnathan Bertrand, and Wade Callahan.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Toshikazu Ueda, Guillermo Aguilar, Juan Hernandez, Javier Aguilar, Eduardo Carrillo and Santos Baquedano.

A heartfelt appreciation is extended by the Ueda family to Dr. Hector Robles, Dr. Arterburn, Amedysis Hospice, her nurse Rhonda Darnell, her caregiver Gail Bodin, and the members of the Royal Lineage Ministries and Our Saviors Church, Pastor Sidney Morales and Pastor Jacob Aranza.
