The Life of Mrs. Doris Ellen Barnhart

 Doris E. (Paules) Travaglini Barnhart, 81, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital in Orwigsburg. She was the wife of the late Gerald Barnhart. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, May 27, 2022 in Greenmount Cemetery, 721 Carlisle Avenue, York. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born October 23, 1940 in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late John A. and Dorothy M. (Horner) Paules, she had worked for many years at Hamburg Center Hospital. Mrs. Barnhart was a woman of deep faith and a devoted animal lover. Mrs. Barnhart is survived by three sons, Mark J. and wife Daria Travaglini of Pine Grove, Kenneth S. and wife Lynne Travaglini of Schuylkill Haven, PA, and Michael R. and wife Theresa Travaglini of Vacaville, CA; a daughter, Doreen C. and husband Brian Engle of Shoemakersville, PA; 15 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Joan Goldman of Houston, TX; and her former husband, William Travaglini of Rogersville, TN. She was preceded in death by three brothers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local SPCA or Humane Society.
