The Life of Nedra Simons Eberhardt

Nedra Simons Eberhardt died December 19, 2021 at her residence at Willow Valley Lakes

Born in Rossiter, PA to Gussie and John Simons, Nedra lived in Ebensburg, PA for eighteen years and graduated from Ebensburg Chambria High School. She was predeceased by her sister Janet Bloom and brother Jack Bloom. 

Married to H. Alfred Eberhardt for 61 years, they resided in Olean, New York, Easton, PA, Gulph Mills, PA, Paoli, PA, Cape May, NJ and Marco Island, FL.

Their son, Alfred Kip died in 1976.  Surviving is her grandson, Jeremiah K. Eberhardt from Ellensburg, Washington.  Al and Nedra are former members of The Baptist Church in Great Valley, Radnor, PA and the United Church of Marco Island.  More recently, Nedra joined The First Presbyterian Church on Orange St., Lancaster, PA.

She was employed at the American Baptist Church office in Valley Forge. She was a life member of Penn State University, the Lancaster Conservancy and the Science Factory in Lancaster, PA.

Her happiest times were skiing and golfing with Al, spending time with her grandson, Jeremy and living at Willow Valley Retirement Center.

Life was good, thanks be to God.
