The Life of Mr. Frank Ostrosky, Jr

Frank Ostrosky, Jr.,92, lifelong resident of Fairfield, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. He was the devoted husband of 70 years to Kathryn Freeman Ostrosky. Frank was born in Bridgeport on June 7, 1929 to the late Frank and Helen Macgue Ostrosky.

After his graduation from Roger Ludlowe, Frank bravely served in the US Army. Upon his discharge, Frank began his training to become a plumber. He and Kathryn spent winters in Florida, and in the spring and summer he would tend to his vegetable garden.

 In addition to his wife Kathryn, he is survived by his four children. James (Connie) Ostrosky, Mary Ann (Brian) Laven, Thomas (Jennifer) Ostrosky, and Carol Ann Ostrosky. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; Anita Laven Baltayan (Adam), Julie, Natalie, and Emily Laven, Matthew and Emma Ostrosky.  And one great grandson, Brian Michael.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 11AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Fairfield. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 S. Benson Rd., Fairfield on Friday from 4-8PM.
