The Life of D. Jean Largent

D. Jean (Whisler) Largent, 80, of Norristown, formerly of Macungie, Topton and Wilmington, DE, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021 in Markley Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Norristown. She was the widow of Marshal G. Grim, who died on April 19, 2003, and the former wife of R. David Warner, Sr.

 

Born in Maryland, Jean was a daughter of Doris (Erskine) Whisler, Wilmington, DE, and the late George Whisler. She was a 1959 graduate of Alexis I. du Pont High School and after graduation, Jean worked for Blue Cross for five years. After having her children, Jean was a Homemaker who took great pride in her home and raising her family. She loved to go to area yard sales and go to the hunting camp in Potter County. Above all, she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

 

Along with her Mother Doris, Jean is survived by her three children, Cheryl L. (Warner), wife of Mick Marley, Norristown, Karen A. (Warner), wife of Jack O'Donnell, Doylestown and R. David Warner, Jr., husband of Lori (Siever), Malvern; brother, Jimmy Whisler husband of Carol Hall, Wilmington, DE; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

 

A funeral service to celebrate and honor Jean's life will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA. A visitation will be held from 10:30 until 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Kutztown.
