The Life of DOROTHY ZIELINSKI

Dorothy M. "Dottie" Zielinski, 91, passed away at home on November 4, 2021, with her loving daughter, Linda by her side. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William and Cecelia E. (Krotulski) Nowack. Dottie was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Reading. She was employed as an examiner for 46 years at Pennsylvania Optical before her retirement. She had many passions including making wreaths out of ribbons, the Fairchild Feral Friends Foundation, feeding outside cats and rescuing many, playing scrabble on the computer, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzle and word finds. She was an avid reader, loved to embroider, go out to dinner, the Green Dragon and loved her many cats and dogs over the years. Her greatest passion was wrestling, having gone to see it live over 30 times. She is survived by her daughter, Linda A. Zielinski of Reading and was pre-deceased by two brothers, William and Edward and by a sister, Dolly Nowack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 15th at 10:00 AM. in St. Mary R.C.Church, 250 S. 12th Street, Reading. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may pay their condolences on Monday, November 15th from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Gallman-Sonoski Funeral Home, Inc., Reading.
