The Life of SANDRA ANN REED HOEFLING

Sandra Ann Hoefling, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 20, 2021. She was born July 13, 1938 in Des Moines to Sherman and Viola (Johnson) Porter.

Sandy worked at the Des Moines Club for almost 20 years where she made many lasting friendships. She enjoyed going to the casino, watching “The Young and the Restless” and had a knack for finding a bingo game (which she normally won!).

She is survived by her children, Cynthia (John Hutton) Renaud, Kristy Richardson, Marty Perry and Melissa Perry; grandchildren, Jacob (Taylie) Allen, Jennifer (Mike) Delpierre, Corey (Melissa) Allen, Joseph (Jenny) Richardson, Jeremy (Ashley) Siglin, Jeffrey (Mindi) Richardson, Stephanie McWilliams, Katie McWilliams, Chase Perry and Kelsey Perry; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Duane; parents; sister, Marcella Kranzler; and son-in-law, Mark Richardson.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm.
