The Life of Rosabelle Crawford

Rosabelle  (nee Talley) Crawford, 100, of Springfield, PA, died September 4, 2021 at her daughters home in Gilbertsville. Born, raised and lifetime resident of Drexel Hill, she was a graduate of  Upper Darby High, class of '39. Rosabelle worked as a Bookkeeper for the Lerner Shop in 69th Street business district, where she also helped in the gift wrap department. She was an active church member and attended Christ United Presbyterian Church. A member of local Senior groups Earlbrook, Watkins and Friendship Circle, as an accomplished knitter, Rosabelle  enjoyed giving lessons. Mrs. Crawford vacationed regularly at the White Oak Campgrounds in Lancaster and enjoyed going to their local auctions. She was the beloved wife of the late Warren to whom she was married for 73 years and who died in 2016.  Survivors: include her daughters, Jeanette (Charles) Watson, Barbara (Jack) Shea; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and her brother, Harlon H Talley, Jr.; 

 Service will be 1 pm Friday, September 10, 2021,  at the  Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington

Visitation: Friday, September 10, 2021, 12:30 pm

Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026

She was so amazing and talented.  She made such beautiful clothing for me. Always tried to help me be in style on a budget.  I loved  getting materials and patterns with her. I never gained her talent with knitting and sewing  but love that I had such great memories with Grammy!  Love you
