The Life of Mr. Darryl B. Wiltrout

Darryl B. Wiltrout, 75, of Kutztown, died Sunday, July 25, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

 

Born in Richmond Township, Darryl was a son of the late Ralph T. and Arlene E. (Biehl) Wiltrout. Darryl was a member of Saint John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kutztown, and a graduate of Kutztown Area High School, Class of 1963.

 

Darryl was employed as a tow motor operator for the former Federal-Mogul Lighting Company, Boyertown, until his retirement in 2008. Darryl enjoyed watching sports, rooting for his beloved Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavaliers. He also enjoyed attending Kutztown High School Girls Softball games.

 

Darryl is survived by his brother, Glenroy, widower of, Gale G. (Keller) Wiltrout, Mertztown; uncle, Leroy J., widower of, Mildred (Berndt) Biehl, and companion of Helen Hoch, Richmond Township; nieces and nephews, Dean E., husband of, Susan M. (Boyle) Muth; Ty B., husband of, Diane A. (Lahn) Muth; Glynis R. (Muth), wife of James K. Stansfield; Gary A., husband of, Lisa (Gensemer) Wiltrout; and Holly A. Wiltrout, wife of, Dallas DeFrees; great nieces and nephews, Shannon (Muth), wife of Brian Kacsur; Brenden Muth; Rory Muth; Nicholas, husband of, Nicole (Nichol) Muth; Jonathan, husband of Katie (Prudhoe) Wiltrout; Michael, husband of MacKenzie (Whitehair) Wiltrout; Samantha (Wiltrout) Rossetti, and Ryan Morris; great-great nieces and nephews, Paxton and Kian Kacsur; Wyatt, Kara, Asher and Greyson Muth; and Delilah, Cecelia, and Louie Rossetti.

 

In addition to his parents, Darryl was predeceased by his sister, Janice R. (Wiltrout) Muth, who died April 23, 2017; great-nephew, Mark M. Sicher, who died May 23, 2006; aunt, Elda (Biehl) Stein and a uncle, Melvin Biehl.

 

A funeral service to celebrate Darryl's life will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., Kutztown with his Pastor, The Reverend Mary Ann Hamm, officiating. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Relatives and friends may call Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
