Glenn E. Widel, 59 of Orwigsburg passed away Sunday at the Lehigh Valley – Cedar Crest Hospital.

Born January 24, 1962, he was the son of the late James J. Widel and Joy A. Ubil Sidella wife of George R. Sidella

Glenn attended the Schuylkill Haven School District.  He drove truck for a living but also was the owner and operator of Widel Auto Sales and Mobile.

Glenn was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagle fan.  He loved to deep sea fish as well as restoring model cars.  Glenn also loved to ski and play guitar.

Glenn is preceded in death by his daughter Cheri Lynn Widel.

In addition to his mother and George he is also survived by 

daughter Michelle Joy Widel.  He is also survived by his sisters; Michelle Widel long-time partner of Jeff Weitzel and Angela E. Nertavich wife of Alan W. along with nieces and nephews; Robert L. Krammes, Jr., Joseph J. Krammes, Anthony A. Bierman, Alexandria J. Nertavich and Angelique C. Nertavich.

A viewing will be held on Friday at 9:00 A.M.  at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven.  Funeral service will begin at 10:00 A.M. with interment to follow on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.  Memories and condolences can be shared at www.grabowskifuneralhome.com
