Luis Rivera Luis Rivera 101, of Reading passed away Sunday April 18, 2021 in Mifflin Center. He was predeceased by his wife Francisca R. Rivera February 22, 2005. Luis was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico on August 19, 1919 a son of the late Jose Rivera and Paulina Rodriguez. Luis was employed by the Reading Hospital in maintenance for over 25 years and was a faithful member of St. Peter’s RCC. Surviving are his children; Ana L. Soto, Angel L. Rivera, Hector L. Rivera, Maria Hernandez, 32 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and close family friends. Luis was predeceased by his children; Jose A. Rivera, Adalberto Rivera, Carmen Rodriguez, and siblings; Antonio Rivera and Anamaria Rivera. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated, Monday April 26, 2021 at 9:30am in St. Peter’s RCC, 322 S. 5th St., Reading. Burial to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
