The Life of Albert A Capano

 

Obituary - Albert A Capano, 89, of Springfield, PA, died May 27, 2021 at Vitas Hospice. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he left High School to join the Army and served during the Korean War. Al received his GED and worked as an Equipment Specialist for the government at the Phila Navy Yard and later for a defense contractor. Known as the Candy Man, Al carried bags of chocolate to give to anyone and everyone.  He was a member of Holy Cross Parish in Springfield, loved to travel and go out for lunch and dinner. Al was an avid Phillies fan.

Survivors: include his wife of 58 years, Marguerite T. (nee Shaw) Capano

 Funeral Service will be private at Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington

Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026

Al always had a smile for everyone.  He was so easy to talk with and made everyone around him feel comfortable.  He was the perfect gentleman and the perfect match for Marge.  Rest in Peace, Al.
