The Life of VERONICA EASINGTON

Evangelist Hovis Veronica Easington, passed away at age 93 peacefully on Monday April 26, 2021 at her home in Lawrenceville, GA. She was born December 18,1927 in Jamaica West Indies to the Late John and Etheline (Wilson) Dennis. She was married to the Late Arthur C.J. Easington until his death October 2001. In 1969 they Moved to the U.S.A for a better Opportunities for themselves and their Children. For most of her Family life she was a stay-at-home Mom until her youngest turned 18. She became a nurse at the Jewish Nursing Home for 10 years until she retired. During this time, she fell in love with the Word of God and studied continuously, and she received her Ministerial License under the Late Bishop Freeman Thomas in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.

 

Mother Easington was an Assistant Pastor with Four Different Ministers (1) Pastor Jeremiah Thomas; (2) Pastor Wilson (3) Pastor Coleman (4) Pastor Webster (5) Pastor Williams).  Mother Started two Churches one in Braddock, Pennsylvania and one SpringHill, Florida.  When she Moved to Georgia, she joined the Brea Apostolic Faith Church Family, Where Mother would say She found a Place where she would get Strong Meat for her soul. Mother was truly knowledgeable in the word, and she was always studying even up until the end of her days. She loved people, and she was constantly sharing the word with any and everyone who would listen. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She has eleven Children: Vaughn(deceased) Luleta, Edith, Bruce, Ansel, Marelene, Verlyn, Veronica, Cordell, Cordus, and Daniel. Twenty-three Grand Children, and a slew of Great, Grand; Great, Great Grand; and Great, Great, Great Grand Children. She also had a deep love for her Church Family. Her final wish is that every one of us continue in the faith, so she can see you again on the other side in Peace with the Lord Jesus Christ.
