I was very sad to hear of Joel's passing. It was always a joy to see Joel. He was always friendly and happy to chat. Loved that he would call me "Little Janie" after my Mom. I will truly miss seeing those beautiful blue eyes and warm smile. Hold tightly to the good memories!! Prayers to you all. Hope he, my Mom, and Mel are all having drinks and remembering the good ole days.
Joel Beck was a gifted musician. Guitar savant. When he samg Roy Orbison songs if you closed your eyes you would swear it was Roy himself. Moreover, Joel was a great person. His passing is a loss for all of us. Rest in peace. Forrest Strachan
I remember him from way back in Boy Scout days and care free days at the swimming pool in the summer. He was a really nice guy. Unfortunately, I hadn't bumped into him in quite a while.
